Welcome to ClientJam. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ClientJam website, software, reports, dashboards, lead discovery tools, website analysis tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using ClientJam, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who We Are

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding agreement to use ClientJam. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Description of the Service
ClientJam provides software tools that may help users analyze websites, identify potential business leads, generate website quality scores, surface public business information, create outreach ideas, and organize sales or design prospecting workflows.
ClientJam may use automated systems, algorithms, third-party data, publicly available information, and AI-assisted analysis. The Service is intended for informational, productivity, marketing, and business development purposes only.
4. No Guarantee of Results
ClientJam does not guarantee that any website score, lead recommendation, outreach suggestion, analysis, email draft, business ranking, or generated report will be accurate, complete, current, profitable, or suitable for your specific business.
You are solely responsible for evaluating any lead, prospect, recommendation, message, strategy, or business decision before relying on it.
ClientJam does not guarantee: increased revenue; new clients; search engine ranking improvements; website performance improvements; deliverability of outreach emails; compliance of generated outreach with applicable laws; accuracy of third-party or public data; or that a business is actively seeking design, development, SEO, or marketing services.
5. Accounts
You may need to create an account to use some parts of the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
ClientJam may offer free plans, paid subscriptions, trials, one-time purchases, usage-based features, or add-ons.
By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize ClientJam and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method for applicable fees, taxes, and renewal charges.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout: subscription fees are billed in advance; subscriptions automatically renew until canceled; you may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support; and canceling stops future renewal charges but does not automatically refund past payments.
7. Free Trials and Promotions
ClientJam may offer free trials or promotional pricing. We may modify, limit, or end trials and promotions at any time. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your paid subscription may begin automatically at the end of the trial period if billing information was provided.
8. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. New subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of their initial payment by contacting support@clientjam.app. After 7 days, payments are non-refundable unless required by law.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. You may not: use ClientJam for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or fraudulent purposes; send spam or unlawful commercial messages; scrape, crawl, copy, or harvest data from ClientJam except through intended features; reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code; interfere with or disrupt the Service; use the Service to generate or distribute harmful, misleading, defamatory, or illegal content; use the Service to violate privacy, anti-spam, consumer protection, or data protection laws; resell or commercially exploit the Service unless authorized in writing; or attempt to bypass account limits, billing systems, or security measures.
10. Outreach and Email Compliance
ClientJam may help generate outreach ideas, prospect lists, or email drafts. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any outreach you send complies with applicable laws, including anti-spam, privacy, telemarketing, advertising, and consumer protection laws. You are responsible for honoring unsubscribe requests, using accurate sender information, and ensuring your communications are lawful.
11. User Content
You may submit, upload, or generate content through the Service, including business names, URLs, notes, lists, prompts, emails, reports, or other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant ClientJam a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, and use your User Content as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
12. AI-Generated and Automated Content
Some ClientJam features may use AI or automated analysis. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your use case. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before using it. Do not rely on AI-generated content as legal, financial, tax, employment, or professional advice.
13. Third-Party Services
ClientJam may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Clerk (authentication), OpenAI (AI analysis), and OpenStreetMap/Nominatim (business data). We are not responsible for third-party services, policies, availability, or security practices.
14. Intellectual Property
ClientJam, including its software, design, branding, logos, reports, scoring systems, workflows, and documentation, is owned by ClientJam or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of ClientJam or any intellectual property rights except the limited right to use the Service.
15. Feedback
If you submit feedback, ideas, feature requests, or suggestions, you grant ClientJam the right to use them without restriction or compensation.
16. Service Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also impose usage limits, change pricing, remove features, or update functionality.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, create risk for ClientJam or others, fail to pay fees, or use the Service unlawfully. Certain provisions survive termination, including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute terms.
18. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClientJam disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and reliability.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClientJam and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption. ClientJam's total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to ClientJam in the three months before the event, or $100, whichever is greater.
20. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ClientJam and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Service, User Content, outreach activity, violation of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law principles.
22. Disputes
Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at support@clientjam.app and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be handled in state or federal courts located in Wisconsin, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
